Categories of Coatings

UV Coatings

Lacquer is applied over the printed sheet and cured by exposure to ultra violet light. UV Coatings are extremely durable, abrasion resistant and cost-effective. Available in a variety of finishes including UV High Gloss, UV Bond, and Spot UV.

Film Lamination

Polyester or polypropylene film is bonded to the printed sheet with an adhesive. The Film Lamination coatings are strong, durable and possess a smooth finish. Available in O.P.P. High Gloss, O.P.P. Matte, Mylar High Gloss, Mylar Matte, Layflat™ High Gloss and LayFlat™ Matte."

Heat Seal

A process similar to Film Lamination in which a polyester film coating encapsulates the entire printed sheet. Heat Seal coatings offer excellent strength and durability. Available in 1 ½ Mil, 3 Mil and 5 Mil Mylar thickness.
